Here comes the Heat

The weather started to warm up a lot last month, so we've been able to enjoy the outdoors a bit more. Don't really have much to say except that it's nice to relax after all the wedding parties!!!

Jack Johnson & friends performed at nearby Akarenga....he's improved since the last time I saw him back in 2003.

Aki came to 'Imagine' (my school) to show the kids how to brush their teeth.

Spent a day at the beach (near Shirahama on the Izu Peninsula). Nice to get in the water and get a tan. The area reminded me a bit of the good old Coromandel.

Aki and I have enjoyed playing Wii sports.....Aki's boxing style is rather unorthodox, but very effective! I prefer bowling and golf.

The site of the 1964 Olympics hosted the Classic All Blacks. They played like they were hungover (which I'm pretty sure they were)and were lucky to scrape home 15-13 against a much improved Japan team. Spencer and Howlett were as terrible as the weather!
